Mexico is the land of my parents and home to much of my family, however I share a complex relationship with the country. It is both foreign and familiar having grown up in the US and only visiting for weeks at a time. Photographing my trips through a documentary style approach is a way to call back to my experiences in a raw fashion, to recall those moments as authentically as when they occurred.
